Khaled Nasrallah visited Olympia with his family in 2005 to raise funds for The Rebuilding Alliance. Khaled was one of the family members living in the home in Rafah that Rachel Corrie was killed in front of on March 16, 2003.

I was very struck by the natural beauty of Olympia. It is like a paradise — trees everywhere, forests, and the Puget Sound. We have never been in a forest, and are very grateful to have seen such beauty.
I am also happy to have visited The Evergreen State College, and met with wonderful people there who are working with native peoples all over the world. (more…)
